The suspect, Paul Thijssen, was found dead near Diamond Bay Reserve. It is believed that Thijssen killed James after she ended their brief secret relationship. Thijssen has been described as "weird" and "flirtatious" by fellow students at the school. He was seen on CCTV calmly walking down a street shortly after the alleged murder.
