Britney Spears' estranged husband, Sam Asghari, has finally broken his silence following the release of her memoir, 'The Woman In Me,' where she affectionately called him a 'gift from God.' Asghari, 29, expressed his genuine happiness and pride for Spears, stating, 'That made me smile, to be honest. I am freaking proud of her, and I hope she takes over the world.'

Despite filing for divorce due to 'irreconcilable differences,' Asghari holds no ill feelings towards his ex-wife. In her memoir, Spears, 41, praised his stability and revealed how she 'knew' she wanted him in her life from the very beginning. Asghari, an aspiring actor, met the pop icon in October 2016 while filming the music video for her hit song 'Slumber Party.'

The Grammy winner also credited Asghari for giving her the strength to speak out against her 'abusive' conservatorship, which lasted for 13 years. During her highly publicized court hearing in June 2021, Spears mentioned how Asghari's unwavering support was symbolized through a simple hand squeeze. She described him as an inspiration and expressed her gratitude for his consistent dedication to their well-being.

Sources close to the couple revealed that Spears had already submitted the final manuscript of her memoir before their separation. When asked if he was nervous about its release, Asghari confidently stated that he had 'already read it' and felt genuinely proud of her. He admitted that it was a challenging journey for Spears to write the book but eagerly shared his excitement to be the first in line to purchase it.

Although Sam Asghari is eagerly awaiting the publication of Britney's memoir, her father, Jamie, reportedly has no intention of reading it. Sources revealed that he is unfazed by what the book may reveal, as Spears has previously made negative comments about him in court and on social media.

Asghari filed for divorce from Spears in August after just 14 months of marriage, citing irreconcilable differences. Despite being mentioned in the memoir, their prenuptial agreement ensures that he will not profit from it. However, sources suggest that some changes were made to the book following their separation.

During her first public statement after the divorce, Britney admitted feeling shocked but expressed her determination to remain strong. She assured her fans that she was doing well and urged them never to forget to smile.

Sam Asghari, known for his claims of experiencing physical altercations during their relationship, has now shown support for Britney Spears and her memoir, showcasing his pride and admiration for her.
