31 Lakh Students Achieve A+ in Nipun Assessment Test

More than 31 lakh students in Uttar Pradesh have achieved the A+ category in the Nipun Assessment Test, which measures their educational proficiency. The results were declared by the basic education department on Monday. Students who scored above 90 percent were placed in the A+ category, showcasing their exceptional performance.

According to a press release from the UP government, Gautam Buddha Nagar, Varanasi, Kannauj, and Ambedkar Nagar had the highest number of A+ category students. In the proficiency assessment test for students in classes 1 to 3, Gautam Buddha Nagar stood out with an impressive 49.90 percent of students securing the A+ category. Ambedkar Nagar took the lead in classes 4 to 8, with 33.98 percent of students achieving the top rating.

The efforts of the Yogi government to enhance the skill levels of children in Uttar Pradesh are yielding promising results, with all 75 districts performing well in the Nipun Assessment Test. Notably, Jaunpur, Sultanpur, and Azamgarh were also among the top five districts.

The results highlighted that 30.49 percent of students in classes one to three scored above 90 percent, earning them the coveted A+ category. Additionally, 17.39 percent achieved an A category, 24.72 percent fell under the B category, 11.65 percent were in the C category, 5.18 percent in the D category, and 10.58 percent in the E category.

For students in classes 4 to 8, 19.79 percent secured the A+ category, 28.03 percent achieved an A category, 23.17 percent fell under the B category, 10.62 percent were in the C category, 7.11 percent in the D category, and 11.28 percent in the E category.

Officials have been instructed to provide additional support to students who require assistance to improve their academic performance, ensuring that the overall proficiency levels continue to improve.
