Justin Timberlake, the renowned singer and actor, has made his first public appearance since ex-girlfriend Britney Spears released her memoir, "The Woman In Me." Timberlake, who had been receiving abusive comments on social media following Spears' revelations, seemed undeterred as he jetted off to Cabo for a family vacation in recent days.
Sporting a white tee, joggers, a baseball cap, and sneakers, the 42-year-old star appeared to be in good spirits as he cradled his three-year-old son, Phineas, while boarding a car. Timberlake is also a father to eight-year-old son Silas, whom he shares with his wife, Jessica Biel.
Timberlake has chosen not to publicly respond to any of the claims made by Spears in her recently published book. However, he did deactivate comments on his Instagram account due to the hateful and distasteful remarks people were leaving. Sources close to Timberlake reported that he was not pleased with the revelations made by Spears.
It has been nearly a month since Timberlake's last Instagram post, in which he shared a video discussing a new song with his former band, NSYNC. Since then, his attention has been consumed by the aftermath of Spears' memoir release.
In her book, Spears revealed the emotional turmoil she experienced when she had an abortion at 19, citing Timberlake's reluctance to become a father as the reason behind her decision. Although she never intended for such an outcome, she confessed to still having deep love for Timberlake and envisioning a future with him.
While Timberlake has refrained from reaching out to Spears amidst the controversy, insiders claim that he is not happy about the situation. The baggage from Spears' memoir has reportedly been a cause of stress for Timberlake and Biel, overshadowing their recent wedding anniversary on October 19.
One aspect of the memoir that gained significant attention was Michelle Williams' narration, particularly her satirical imitation of Timberlake putting on a accent to impress Black musicians. Spears accused Timberlake of trying too hard to fit in with Black musicians during their time in NSYNC, recalling an incident where he used a "blaccent" to speak to R&B singer Ginuwine.
Although Timberlake has remained publicly silent about Spears' claims, the ongoing discussion about his past actions continues to raise curiosity and speculation among fans and the media.
