General Hospital star Tyler Christopher has passed away at the age of 50, according to his co-star Maurice Benard. The actor's death was confirmed by his representative, Chi Muoi Lo. Christopher, known for his role as Nikolas Cassadine on the long-running soap opera, appeared in over a thousand episodes of General Hospital from 1996 to 2016. He earned four daytime Emmy nominations and won the Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series award in 2016.
