Former MasterChef contestant Callum Hann, along with his business partner Themis Chryssidis, is gearing up to launch their latest culinary venture. Situated in the heart of Adelaide's CBD on Pirie Street, Olive is a highly anticipated Mediterranean-themed restaurant that promises a stylish yet laid-back dining experience.
With their new venture located near their up-market restaurant Eleven, which was launched last year, Hann and Chryssidis are focused on creating a casual and relaxed atmosphere for patrons. In a recent interview with The Advertiser, Themis conveyed their vision of a place where good food, good music, good drinks, and good company come together.
Eager restaurant-goers can expect a diverse and flavor-packed menu inspired by the cuisines of Lebanon, Turkey, Morocco, Italy, and Greece. Highlighting the spectrum of options, the most expensive dish on offer will be a whole rainbow trout with caper butter and grilled lemon, priced at $55.
Callum Hann's culinary journey began after his success as the runner-up in MasterChef Australia 2010. With his expertise, he launched a cooking school in Adelaide. In 2011, he collaborated with dietitian Themis to establish Sprout Cooking.
