Simon Danczuk, 57, has revealed that he has found both love and faith after getting married to beauty therapist Claudine Uwamahoro. The former Labour MP, who met Claudine while on a business trip in Rwanda, recently had their union blessed at the Central London Seventh Day Adventist Church. This comes two months after their traditional wedding in Kigali, the capital of Rwanda.
Danczuk, who was previously married to Sonia Rossington and Karen Burke, admits that he had never been baptised until now. He has always considered himself spiritual but had never taken the step of being christened. While Claudine is a follower of Seventh Day Adventism, Danczuk insists that there was no pressure on him to convert, stating that she would have been accepting of any faith he chose.
The former MP has faced a series of controversies in the past, including accusations of bullying and infidelity. However, Danczuk reveals that his newfound faith in Christianity has made him a better person. It has made him more conscious of morality and has given him a stronger focus on family.
Danczuk's journey from love in Rwanda to faith in God is an inspiring one. Despite his past mistakes and controversies, he has found redemption and a fresh perspective on life. It remains to be seen how his newfound faith will shape his future endeavors.
