Chris Pine Rocks Colorful Cardigan and Makes Directorial Debut at TIFF

Chris Pine, the 43-year-old actor known for his roles in Star Trek and Wonder Woman, has been making waves with his fashion choices. Recently, he was seen rocking a colorful cardigan that bears a striking resemblance to a 'grandma sweater'. The actor has been spotted wearing this quirky fashion piece on multiple outings last month.

The cardigan in question is a striped Italy smoking jacket from The Elder Statesman, retailing for a whopping $2,395. Pine paired his bright outerwear with an almost all-black ensemble, consisting of a top, shorts, and leggings. To add a pop of color, he opted for a pair of bright orange EVA foam Birkenstock double strap sandals.

Aside from his eye-catching fashion choices, Chris Pine has also made his directorial debut with the comedy mystery film Poolman. The film, which he co-wrote, co-produced, and stars in, premiered at the 2023 Toronto International Film Festival in September. Poolman follows the story of a hapless dreamer and Los Angeles poolman who uncovers a massive water heist, reminiscent of the iconic film Chinatown.

In addition to his directorial venture, Pine recently starred in the fantasy heist comedy movie Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves. The film premiered at South by Southwest in March and garnered over $208.2 million at the worldwide box office.
