Celebrities Flock to the Highly-Anticipated Melbourne Cup Carnival

A plethora of celebrities are getting ready to flock to one of the most highly-anticipated social events of the year - the Melbourne Cup carnival. This event is expected to see the country's biggest stars attending several race days at Flemington Racecourse, inside the world-famous 'Birdcage'. Among the famous faces attending will be Rebecca Judd, Buddy and Jesinta Franklin, and Pip Edwards, who will have the opportunity to indulge in delicious delicacies and desserts, while enjoying expensive Champagne in the exclusive enclosure.

Luxury brands such as G.H. Mumm, Lexus, and Penfolds will be setting up marquees in the Birdcage. G.H. Mumm, the official Champagne sponsor, has transformed their marquee into a stunning Parisian garden. Guests will be welcomed by dancers and treated to a culinary experience at the pop-up degustation La Table Des Chefs, led by French chef Florian Barbarot. The Birdcage will also feature a 'Bird Bath Bar' and a 'Pamper Lounge', creating an interactive and entertaining experience for the lucky attendees.

Lexus, the Japanese car company, will create a marquee called 'Landmark by Lexus' focusing on tranquility and relaxation. This space will blend Japanese traditions with local materials and ingredients. Supermodel Adut Akech will be an exclusive guest, while renowned Australian chef Luke Mangan will be in charge of creating delectable dishes. Furphy, Penfolds, and Schweppes will also be part of the Birdcage, each showcasing unique and enchanting experiences for their guests.

Furphy's marquee will feature a central atrium and custom-made bars, while Penfolds intends to take their guests on an underwater wonderland journey. Schweppes will return with their magical bubble booth, offering delicious edible bubbles and a range of premium alcohol and alcohol-free cocktails. Aussie stars will have the opportunity to enjoy light entertainment and canapés at Gwen by Luke Stone and the Curtis Stone Events team.
