An American tourist, identified as Troy Bohling, has been charged with the rape and murder of 21-year-old student, Eva Liu, at the famous Neuschwanstein castle in Bavaria, Germany. Bohling was also found to have child pornography on his electronic devices. The incident occurred in June when Liu and her friend, Kelsey Chang, encountered the suspect on a hiking trail near the castle. After luring the women to a secluded spot, Bohling attacked Liu, attempting to rip her clothes off and carry out sexual acts. When Chang intervened, Bohling threw her down a steep slope with the intention of causing fatal injury. After raping and strangling Liu, he threw her body down the slope, where it collided with a tree, resulting in her death. Thankfully, Chang survived the ordeal with a head injury and bruises.
