Australian makeup artist and TV personality Alex Fevola has spoken out about a seemingly tense moment captured at the Caulfield Cup, dispelling rumors of an argument with her partner, Brendan. Exclusive photographs published by Daily Mail Australia showed Alex gesturing animatedly as she spoke to Brendan during the Melbourne racing event.
In an interview on Fifi, Fev & Nick's breakfast radio show, the 46-year-old clarified the situation, explaining that her animated demeanor was due to excitement rather than any confrontation. Alex revealed that a security guard had asked her and her daughter Mia for ID bands, and she had enthusiastically shared this anecdote with Brendan. She explicitly stated, "There was no argument."
The couple attended the prestigious racing carnival event alongside their 23-year-old model daughter, Mia, and her new boyfriend, Bass Miller. Alex looked stunning in a white lace frock, while Brendan opted for pale blue suit pants.
Alex and Brendan's marital journey has seen its ups and downs. They married in 2005, divorced in 2014, but reconciled later that same year. In 2016, Brendan proposed to Alex for the second time after winning the 2016 season of I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! The proposal took place in front of their children, including Mia, whom Brendan had adopted. The couple are also parents to three other daughters: Leni (12), Lulu (8), and Tobi (2).
Reflecting on their unique journey, Brendan admitted that he was initially nervous about proposing again but was delighted when Alex said yes. He described the moment as "really beautiful" due to the presence of their children.
Despite occasional tabloid speculation, Alex and Brendan have demonstrated their ability to weather storms and prioritize their family bond. Their united front at the Caulfield Cup exemplifies their commitment to maintaining a happy and supportive relationship.
